And the days they just keep rolling on. I'm back for my bday SAL update, an actual finish, and news. First of all, this is what we were dealing with.. Snow piling up on my front porch. The total came to about 14 inches. Further up the highway where my daughter lives and works, they had two and a half feet to deal with. Some places up in the hills got 3ft. I missed two days of work. This was last week. Also last week, the USPS lost my package that had floss and fabric for the last two days of my bday SAL!!  Hi all! I'm back for my bday SAL update. It ends on the 29th which is my bday. Just 5 more new starts to go! I'm amazed that I've kept up. Let's get to the pictures! I left off on the Ewe & Eye & Friends last post. No pictures because all I stitched was a row of the border. It calls for the four-sided stitch but who's got time for that?! Hello! Back for another sal update, twelve more days to go of new starts. It's been fun. I'm also cheating at stitching on a start into the next day! I love everything I picked for my sal. Hi everyone! I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas however you had it in this time of covid. I spent mine with my daughter and her boyfriend. We ate breakfast burritos, buffalo chicken dip, chocolate, and cookies! It was perfect! Then my 1 brother from Phoenix drove up to join us. Here we are in a new year full of Hope. I am hoping that we can get a handle on covid, get the election quandary figured out but mostly get back to living again without masks and hand sanitizer. Hello! Well, the 15th has come and gone and the winner of my 10th blogaversary is Carol of the Stitching Dreams blog! Congrats Carol!  I have most of the prizes but thought I'd wait until after Christmas to get all the rest. The week leading up to Christmas is always a hectic one with wrapping gifts, baking, and planning what food to eat on the big day. So Carol, as a follower of your blog for many years, I totally know what fabric you like to stitch on and the designers you like! The only WIP I've stitched on thus far is Christmas Garden by BBD. I have stitched on it practically every day, an hour or two weekday evenings and longer on weekends. I am now in the middle portion.. I hope it's not too blurry. Hello! How is everyone post-Thanksgiving? My daughter, her boyfriend, and I did Thanksgiving at a local restaurant and it was fine. There were lots off other people doing the same thing! It is weird to not have leftovers though. Sometime in December I will roast a turkey breast. So I have some finishes and progress to show on this second to last day of November. Let's go! Last post, I mentioned stitching some ornaments. Well, I managed to stitch two! Here they are.. On the left is an untitled freebie pear from Marni (spelling?) at Santa's and Samplers at her blog. I have a printout of the design and I wasn't sure if it was a holiday design or not. What the heck, I'll stitch it and see how it looks. There's the red of the flower buds and green of the flower.
